Knee Pain

Okay guys, I have this knee issue that crops up every so often. The pain moves right over the knee cap.
Hurts when squatting leg pressing, even extensions. Years ago I self-diagnosed it as patella tendinitis.
What do you guys thnk? I do ice it, but the pain remains the same. Walking up steps is virtually impossible. Someone give me advice! Do not want cortisone.

Tb500 helped with my tendonitis and checkout bpc157 it's another healing peptide. I had friend who used igf and it helped

sounds like chondromalcia to me. it's wear on the cartilage on the underside of the knee cap. it will take time to heal. unfortunately you may not wish to eliminate exercises that cause it aggravation. that's understandable. i will not say this is the problem of certainty, i just know i was diagnosed in the service with it, but still was not let to rest it for at least six months to let it heal. needless to say, continuing to run on it wrecked my knees permanently.
get a clear diagnosis if you can. other things could be osgood slaters disease, which is just calcium buildup just below the knee on the head of the tibia.
if ice isn't helping, sometimes heat will. i use heat due to arthritis, which is also a possibility.
without a proper exam it would be difficult to say exactly what the problem is. you may be right also, but can't tell just by what you've given.

Doesn’t sound fun, and I can honestly say I have really worn out knees and I have never experienced any pain move over the front outside of my knee cap, aside from once from football, felt like the cap fractured, but likely a bone bruise and healed, but no never had any pain there on the outside.

PGB bro, so you use heat on arthritic areas?

most of the time i use heat, because ice just makes me ache more. once in awhile, if i'm inflamed and swollen, i'll use ice. a lot of time though i don't have swelling, at least not to a noticeable degree.

Thanks fellas for the input. Yes, I have heard about chrondromalacia. It could be it.
i will apply heat for a couple of days and see how that feels.
Thanks again.

I have used just about anything and everything you could think for all of my joints. DMSO, IGF, Deca, Ice, Heat and the doc just put me on a new scrip for arthritis. I am going to give it a month and if not any better back to King Deca. I run MC Igf all the time and it really helps.

Have you guys heard of Voltarin gel?
also, what about this injection called Synvisc? Used to help with lubrication of the knee joint.

haven't heard of voltarin gel. used oral form when i couldn't take naprosyn any more. then it messed up my stomach as well. even was on ibuprofen therapy, until it bent me over with stomach cramping and pain. now i'm on a pain killer. which had to be changed to a stronger form and take it twice a day recently.
i'm on a pain killer due to chronic pain because of the severity of the arthritis. it helps with knee pain as well. i still use deca therapeutically as well. haven't used igf yet, but would like to. plan is to order up some from mc. just haven't done it yet. tried some cyclo, it seems to ease the pain some and help with mobility, but it takes a script, too.
i know what you mean about trying several things drtbear. it's an ongoing self experiment finding what works, what doesn't, and getting the right balance.

It's not that good. You're better off taking voltaren/diclofenac in pill form. When I had issues with my knees I tried to address the problem. Most often it's a mechanical issue, how you lift, walk, something you do in your everyday life, shoes etc. Start off with resting. Try to find the cause. Contact physician and/or physical therapist.

Okay guys, here's an update.
I have not been to the gym in almost 3 months. Haven't done anything to stress my knee.
Went to my orthopedic and got the Synvisc shot. Been rubbing Voltarin on it daily.
Is it better? Yes, a little. I really need to return to the gym.

What did the doc say about compression? I’d go to the gym but only do upper body isolation if you’re still having problems going up stairs.
Bpc 157 is a wonder pep.

Runners knee hurts the side
Dislocated kneecap’s or ligament damage would hurt the front. (If the ligament is one under the cap)

Have they ruled out an MRI to really look at what it is?
