Ouch! I think I did something bad...

Started off in the gym tonight with my partner doing chest. I always start with inclines, because that's "the weakest" part of the pecs. Well 4th set in, I was feeling good, just got done with a set of 225 for 12 and decided to push. I said I'm going for 6 reps at the most with 335. 3Rd rep felt good, but heavy. I said one more, went down, on the way back up, left pec/delt area, it felt/sounded like ripping a pair of jeans, followed by a shit ton of pain. Thank goodness for my partner... She helped me finish the rep so I didn't drop it. It is swollen, but ass you can see in the pic, not really discolored. I kept stretching it, and she massaged it a good bit for me. Now I'm laying with ice on it and took 1600 mg of ibuprofen. It's hurting pretty good, but tolerable. Any idea of what I did, and any suggestions to get back in the game quickly? I tried to do a very very light set of cable crossovers and couldn't due to the pain... Like 10lbs killed me. So we altered the workout to focus on arms and took it all off my chest. My partner would massage the spot with high pressure (and lots of pain) throughout the workout. Now it's just sore and swollen. Hopefully you can see it in the pic.

Sounds like a tear buddy. My little cousin did the same thing while I was spotting him on a set with 405. Its loud as hell and sound like something ripping. If it is it should turn blue though
 
Woke up this morning, pain is a 2 out of 10. But it's crazy swollen. Looks like my left pec is flexed. No discoloration. Stretching it, the pain level goes up. Tender to the touch, like a bruise.
 
get that swelling down and go to the dr and get an MRI. my tare was different but it took a few days for it to turn black and blue. just hope it doesn't turn black and blue and that it's just a mild tare.
 
I'm popping Aleve now, going to keep icing it today. Might think about the doc after a few days to see what happens. I just had a doc in here at work who knows some good sports medicine docs who are bodybuilders. He says give it a couple of days then he'll check up on me and if ours not any better, he'll get me in touch with them.
 
i don't see anything in the photo???? looks normal to me bro, and sounds like a tear to me! though it should be bleeding and bruised by now, so idk , but you need to see a dr brutha,
 
welp you've got a tare. only question is how bad. good luck. might not be to bad. it doesn't look really bad.
 
yep thats a tare for sure! As stated above, that looks like i minor tare where rest and I mean ...TOTAL REST may be enough to heal it! I tore my hamstring and it looked as if i got hit by a fucking truck, it was so red it looked black from the back of my knee down to my calf, and i rested and it healed just fine. So you might be fine as well, it looks very minor as far as tares go, but one little movement with 2.5lbs dumbbell could be all it takes to tare the rest off to the point it rolls up on you! So again REST REST REST
 
I have done that before, it is a minor tear and most doctors won't do anything about it. Your chest will look different than the other side. If I were you I would take chest off for at least a month and I would baby it for probably 6 months. I still don't lift heavy like I used to because of this but now concentrate on contracting the muscle hard and my chest has grown. I used to be able to do 20 reps with 225 on incline now I used 225 for my heavy sets. Hope this helps. I have actually done it twice same side.

I have igf on hand. Going to be using it daily in the pecs for a while.

Thanks for the input guys. That's why this is the only site I goto for my info and needs.
