Why My expensive protein isolate has very low protein content ?

I decided to go e some extra cash and try some protein isolate . I got me BSN Syntha 6 Whey Isolate. I read the description a couple of times and i couldn't believe my eyes. For a serving size of 40 grs the protein content is only 25 grs , that's roughly 60% . Why in such a good and expensive brand the protein is so less ? Am i missing sth . It costed me 80€ for 2 kg .

Probably the isolate refers to the protein matrix but i really have to idea. I always thought that Isolates are almost 100% pure protein.

if you want isolate try isopure, or you can order from some place like true protein where you can pick the exact type of protein you want and its not a blend

True nutrition !? Yes i like them , but the shipping to Europe is very very expensive . I still can't answer my question how it is possible that in one serving size of 40 grs the protein content is 25 grs . What's the rest if its not fats and carbs ?

^^^first ingredient^^^^

The rest are emulsifiers flavor enhancers and fiber additives as well as artificial sweeteners

Natural and Artificial Flavors, Cocoa Processed with Alkali, Fiber Blend (Inulin, Polydextrose), Sunflower Powder (Sunflower Oil, Corn Syrup Solids, Sodium Caseinate, Mono & Diglycerides, Dipotassium Phosphate, Tricalcium Phosphate, Soy Lecithin, Tocopherols), Lecithin, Cellulose Gum, Salt, Potassium Chloride, Sucralose, Acesulfame Potassium.

Still 15 grs of crap in the 40grs of a serving size . I wonder how good for the body is all that artificial sweeteners and other chemicals . I used to drink unflavored for 1 year straight but got bored .

IDK how good 1/2 the thing bbers put in their bodies LMAO I use a decent amount of iffy stuff not just aas. Acesulfame Potassium I believe can cause depression.

i think 25-27 grams per 30gram serving for islolate is a good rule of thumb....learn't a long time ago to read labels..hell some of them bulk powders is 4 scoops and has only 25-30 grams of protien in them...F that...

Btw i still got this protein on my shelf Z tastes no me disgusting . I am mixing half a spoon of it with a spoon of my other whey to be able to drink it .

I have some "older friends " that were in the proffesional soccer a long time ago . Most of them still say that in their point of view protein powders are completely useless . Eat healthy , eat much red meat , eggs , milk etc , u don't need this artificial mixtures . Ones he's askin me : how we were playin football at such level and we ate only real food .

They are, but because it's not concentrate, and is one type of protein - they probably figure less because the amino loading would be quicker. Personally, I prefer the original syntha-6.

Hey bud I did some digging for ya and honestly I think the best I've ever seen in my store and online for that matter is surge by baddass nutrition If I remember right it's 30.5g a serving and 24 or 25g of protein 3.5 of which is carbs alone it's hydrolyzed protein. I don't believe in isolates simply because no studies show its efficacy in comparison to regular whey however hydrolyzed does in fact have a much better absorption which is proven. Now the surge is 39.99 here in the states not sure for you bud but might be something to give a gander at!
