Calculator for Good Body Proportions for (male) Bodybuilders

interesting

i've been measuring my waist too far down, I always wondered why my waist measurements where always a little big.

What bodyfat are we talking here? Competition BF percentages? Given the waist measurement I doubt it.

I added 20 lbs to my current weight and I am over most of the measurements that came back. So I was thinking, maybe it's for competition. But then I looked at the waist measurement. I mine came back a 36. Hmmm.... definetly not for competition.

Pretty cool idea about the calculator. I'm going to see if there's an email address where I can address these questions.

I think it said 10%...

yeah, from the site:

"This calculation is made for men with 10% bodyfat and bases upon the relations of bodyparts as used in arts for sculpturing well formed athletes."

Found the email and this is what I sent-

Got a few questions. What BF% is being assumed? Also I added 20 lbs to my weight and what came back were measurements that were totally too small compared to where I am today, except for waist which came back 2 inches bigger. So what would be cool would be to add a BF% number that you could plug in and then have the program come back with the measurements. All in all a pretty cool idea!

Thanks Al!

Wow, that's pretty cool. I'm damn close to all measurements for my weight and height although I'm a little higher than 10% bf...maybe 11.5 or so.
