Caffeine and it's effects...

Yeah, I seemed to have gotten more sensetive as well to caffeine/ephedrine products lately. I get the flushing in the face and ears sometimes as well. I've been taking eca off and on for years. Lately I've noticed that when I take ephedrine, I develop heart palpitations, where it feels like your heart skips a beat and then there is an extra strong beat a second later. It's weird and kinda freaked me out, and from what I've read it's normally ok, and is due to caffeine, ephedrine, or nicotine or sometimes even alcohol. So I'm seriously going to try to cut back on the stimulants for a while. One thing that I like that does give me energy is cayanne. The capsules are pretty cheap at GNC or usually anywhere, and they have a nice stimulating affect, it just doesn't last long. They just take some getting used to because they can clean you out pretty good at first.lol I also used to use them when I boxed because cayanne besides being a powerful antioxidant also helps blood coagulate faster.
 
I was having a lot of problems with caffeine. I was also having a problem at the same time with hypoglycemia.

Since then, ive increased my cardio and been forgetting the carb diets, and eating something every half hour or so.

Problem solved.
 
ive actually gotten more sensitive myself, ironically as Ive gained weight.

I used to be big into stimulants, even the illegal kind way back in the day. But now im sensitive to them. I rarely take them when dieting cause the decreased calories makes me alot more sensitive to them. I will feel like Im tweaking on ephedra. I dont even use it anymore, dieting or not. I dont need it.
 
I can't use caffeine much at all. I can drink a Sobe that has a little guaraná in it, and I'll be fine, but I can't drink a coke no matter what. I literally will not sleep if I do.
 
Quite the opposite... caffeine hardly affects me, it's really bad actually! :upset:

I started taking Jet Fuel again recently after not having had it in like 6 or more months and 3 of them does absolutely nothing for me. I used to at least feel like it suppressed my appetite and gave me a slight boost of energy, but now... nothing. And I'm not very big (5'1", 111 lbs) so I would think that it should have at least SOME kind of effect!

I feel like I can't workout hard if I don't get some sort of caffeine in me beforehand. The habit will be hard to kick if I ever have to... lol
 
I took some dren a few weeks ago and got really jittery and ended up taking a xanax to keep from having a panic attack. I got really messed up on black powder. Had hypo issues and felt like crap about 4 hours later. It was weird.
 
im pretty sensitive to stimulants. My sister got on an ECA stack a while back and took it 3 times a day and it wasnt that bad for her. Hell i take one dose in the morning and im tweaking until like 5pm lol. Ive never taken more then 2 doses of eca i dont think i would sleep for 3 days if i did.

caffeine isnt that bad for me though. Ill have a cup of coffee in the mornings just to help get me going and i think it helps me in the gym as well.
 
I tried ephedrine today (one pill in the morning and another in the afternoon) and guess what happened? NOTHING. :curse: Tomorrow I'm bumping it up to 2... hoping that does something!
 
I watched a friend of mine down a half bottle of mini thins one night. He counted later that he actually took 72. I know this will surprise everyone but he ended up in rehab. How many of you guys that have issues also have anxiety or depression? Im just curious.
 
I have anxiety not much anymore but, every once in a while ill almost have an attack i can usually keep them from coming though. Im not crazy sensitive to caffeine just all other fat burners lol.
 
i know most of us are looking for that KICK from caffieine, but few know its true effects on the body.

Caffeine is used to boost our natural metabolism and and increases the dilation of our blood capillaries, but the one thing people dnt know is that after 45min to and hour after it kicks in our capillaries close up smaller than the previous hour, so when you take it take it RIGHT BEFORE THE WORK OUT, not 1/2 hour before.
