Well I had been on levaquin for 10 days and was feeling almost no better. I went to the immunologist yesterday and he put me on antibiotics for 30 days, roceffin and decadron shot plus five other prescriptions. He stuck a freaking endoscope in my brain I think. I am dropping weight because my thyroid is finally getting back to normal but this is killing me to now work out at all. Anyways I will quit crying now but I must say this truly sucks.:drooling:

Nope. I have immune issues all the time. My sinuses dont drain and I have a deviated septum so what ends up happening is I get sick about every other month. I am gamma globulin deficient which means my body doesn't fight infections off very well.

You should go get regular gamma globulin shots if you don't already.

this sucks man sorry to hear i hope you shake it soon so you can get back in it.

I got them when I was a kid but they say it won't help the condition I have. It has to be intravenous, and some other form. The treatments are 14k a month if I have to pay for them. Cheap huh? My score on the bloodwork was 20 points too high to have insurance pay on a scale that is from 520 to well over 1500 range. Good ole insurance companies. They say I just need to literally stay on antibiotics.

damn bro that is terrible. I cant believe they are that high thats insane. Hopefully you can get it sorted undercontrol or it gets better man wish you the best.

damn insurance companies. You would think that they would be in the business of "preventive treatment" to keep you from getting really sick and costing them alot more money. But then they would just drop you. Keep you on antibiotics? thats a terrible idea. You will build up a tolerance and they will be useless against future infections.

i tell you, mark my words, the day will soon come when people get fed up and you will see news stories of people going into insurance companies and blowing people away. especially with all the baby boomers getting older and sicker.
