Hey new here this is first post. Been brewing many many years and first time with Test Ace. Some buddies wanted to try it. Well I did the 3/20 BA BB and it's has crystals in the bottom. I used GSO only with the BA/BB. Made 200cc's. Anyone have suggestion on how to save this batch? I also have 100gms more coming. I was thinking of heating it up and adding either ba bb EO. I'm getting tons of suggestions all with different approaches.

Thanks in advance

Welcome to MC and I'll move this thread to our lab conversion forum so you can get the help ya need , I don't know much about it or I'd help , welcome though

Hmm....I've done test ace before - never had a crash though. THe BA/BB seems ok, though personally, I think I used about 15% BB. I'm also a bit old-fashioned on my oil choices. I seem to recall (It has been a few years) that I did it with a 50/50 blend of GSO and peanut oil, not straight GSO *or* peanut. This kept the viscosity down, while still giving pretty good carrying capability.

That still doesnt clear it up for me... I know you said you've been brewing for many years, so let me ask nicely cause this may sound remedial, but most of the time its something simple that fixes things. What temp did you bring your mixture to and how long did you keep it there? I found keeping it at the correct heat for longer helps, providing the BA/BB content is correct of course. Which it sounds fine to me. I usually use 3% BA and 17% BB, but hey yours sounds comparible brother.......
Hmmmmmm.....

yeah maybe you didn't reach or sit at melting point long enough? i know I've read guys say thats important, and it makes sense so maybe??

That's the only thing I can think of at the moment. Cypionate is notorious for this!

I bet I had it around 140 for at least 20 minutes. I filtered right into the vials crimped them then handed them off to a guy. Few days later he sent me pics of it with crystals in it. I yet to get them back so I can heat up and add some bb to it. They migrated to another state. I do have more on the way so I'll try again and then fix the other when I get back.

On a side note I never spend much time on having the solution melted for a time specific. I always add to the powder the ba/bb and heat slowly. Once is all melted and clumps out I add the GSO and heat a little longer just to help filter. I never had a crash and if anything I'm done cyp more then another hormone. Strange. It was about 20 minutes because the guy I was with was bs'ing the entire time slowing me down so I bet I would have only heated it maybe 7-10 minutes at the most. Maybe I need to hold the heat longer on all my brews but up till now it's never been a problem. I figured once it's all melted it's ready for carrier and filter.

yeah bro, you probably nailed down the problem then, in needing to heat longer.

How high did u make the concentration bro?.. I recently made a batch at 200mg/ml and the powder didn't disolve very well.. So then I tried it at 150mg/ml and it crashed, similar to what you're describing.. So my next attempt will be to make it at 100mg/ml... But Im gonna use the advice the other bros said about heating it for longer at higher temp next time.. I usually don't go too high on the heat and .. Maybe that wS my problem with my Test Ace
