Well I don't know if any of you ended up seeing him, he ended up placing 2nd.
50 years old, he said he was holding some water in his legs like 20 hours out and couldn't get rid of it.
Super proud of him, although I know he really doesn't want 2nd place anything.

That's awesome. In the last 2 pics, is my buddy Kevyn. He's the tall guy on the far left in the black trunks. He's 59 years old.

that dude is black trunks is 59 yr old holy shit man, crazy but our generation is the last that will look like these guys at this age, as these guys are a generation ahead of of us, and I think were the last of our breed

Yup. He'll be 60 in a few months. Then next year, he's going to do the over 50 and 60 class. Up until recently, his hair was gray and he had a ponytail. But he's a beast, for sure.

I saw some of them going in for spraying as I was loading up for the airport. Some monsters!

59???????? Wow!
Well I am exceptionally proud of my friend of almost a decade... I wish he would have got 1st just for him, but I don't think he realizes the magnitude of what he has done and accomplished in this last 10 years. I met him, I was bigger than him, he hadn't lifted for like 15 years. I really wanted to see him get a pro card bc I know it meant a lot to him, but no matter what and it's not taking it lightly he got 2nd and he is a great guy. His work ethic is bar none since I have known him. So I don't know what to say to him. I have been in healthcare 13.5 years but still don't know what to say to people when they are in a position they'd rather have done better in. To me he accomplished everything though.
