IGF1 LR3 type 1 diabetic

I am thinking of getting some IGF1 LR3
Was wondering of I will be able to lower my insulin levels on it?
That's what I am reading from the boards but am confused bc I always
Thought the reason HGH caused insulin resistance was due to it raising IGF1
Due to the IGF 1 binding to insulin receptor and being less effective at ttransporting
glucose less efficiently into cells there for blocking some of insulins
effectiveness? Can anyone help clarify this issue for me bc
I dont want to run more insulin to control bloodsugar!

we have had some diabetics run this before, and they posted here about it, and i dont want to misquote what they said as im only going by memory, and i dont want to screw ya up but i think you should be able to find some threads here with diabetics using the igf.

IGF 1 helps control blood sugars with diabetes

As its name indicates IGF-1 (insulin-like growth factor-1), has properties similar to insulin, and it has been shown to improve blood sugar profiles in type 2 diabetics. High doses of HGH have been shown to increase insulin resistance, but IGF-1 administration has actually normalized the insulin resistance in a group of healthy volunteers.

Nelly Mauras and Bernard Beaufrere of the Nemours Children's Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida, conducted a study where they looked at several areas. They studied the effect of IGF-1 on protein metabolism, IGF-1's ability to stop the protein-wasting caused by glucocorticosteroid drugs like prednisone, and the effect IGF-1 has on insulin and glucose metabolism. They divided the volunteers into three groups, one group received IGF-1 alone, one group received IGF-1 and prednisone, and one group received prednisone alone.

Like human growth hormone, IGF-1 markedly decreased the protein breakdown in the volunteers who were taking prednisone, but IGF-1 did not cause the diabetes-like effects of carbohydrate intolerance and insulin resistance as human growth hormone had done when given in combination with prednisone in an earlier study.

Instead, the test subjects who received IGF-1 and prednisone had normal glucose metabolism. The researchers saw this as remarkable because glucocorticoids are known to decrease insulin sensitivity and suppress the circulating insulin in the body. These researchers believe IGF-1 offers much promise in the treatment of protein catabolic states.

The Effects IGF-1 Has on Diabetes
Two 1997 double-blind clinical studies showed that recombinant IGF-1 injections can reduce the need for insulin in patients with insulin-dependent diabetes by up to 45% . One study involved 8 adults aged 24 - 49 and 43 children and teenagers aged 8 - 17.

While these trials lasted 19 days and 4 weeks and were short term trials, the fact that these test subjects saw such a drop in their insulin requirement and they had no serious side effects make IGF-1 a promising treatment of diabetes.

While in these short term studies IGF-1 therapy did not completely do away with the need for insulin, it did improve the control of blood sugar and so may help prevent the complications of diabetes.

oh and this study is old i think and was done with normal igf-1 and the study was done with 100mcg per kg of weight, however im reading on other sites, some guys say they just need 50mcgs daily for this effect and some say 100mcgs daily but theyre using the igf-1 lr3 which is what you want anyhow, you dont want to use regular igf-1

and again i know we have some diabetics who posted here about how they ran their igf-1 lr3 , so youll have to runa search cause i think theyre back a few pages

hopefully if there are some type 1 diabetic on here they can post some real world feedback, like presser I don't want to misquote or give misinformation regarding something along these lines.

I ordered 4 bottles of mc igf1 r3 fri, its will hopefully be here tommorow! Cant wait to try! I will update everyone on results. I will share what effect it has on insulin dosage and body comp. I will start at a dosage of 40 mcg daily. Right now im at 13% body fat 191 pds at a height of 5'10" trying To drop bf below 10 % and get body weight to 200! I have been able to lean out while still gaining by keeping carbs low, protein high, and timimg my insulin injections to after fasted cardio a.m. and post workout p.m. to try and direct nutrients from the slin towards muscle and away from fat. also keep inulin levels very low 1 iu humalog and 3 iu novalan N a.m. and 1 iu humalog and 2 iu novalin N post workout. I know I could make much quicker gains with higher insulin but I store fat super fast with carbs and higher insulin also lower levels keep my insulin sensitivity very high. If I see the igf does make muscle more sensitive to insulin and shuttle nutrients away from fat cells I will up my humalog spike post workout to see if I can force some extra growth without storing any fat and keep levels as low as possible bf workout in a.m. to burn as much fat as possible! let me know if any of you have any thoughts or advice on any of this! thanks
