i know igf does burn fat,,

and also u need to be in a calorie defecit to burn fat as energy

if one wanted to get the benefits of muscle gain i read you need a lot of carbs

if you work out fiirst thing in the morning and have pre workout carbs, then a post workout shake with dextrose and maltodextrin before protein. if u take a majority of carbs around the workout first thing in the AM, can you still gain muscle and burn fat at the same time?
 
i believe it can be done, and working out in the morning should help boost your metabolism for the remainder of the day
