Igf IM injection problem!!!!

I was just injecting some mc igf into my lats. I did the right side first as always and everything was fine then when I did my left side as I had the plunger about half way down it burned like a MF. Now I have a softball size blackish blue spot on my lat. Kinda of freaked out.
 
Could it be the alcohol? I ran out alcohol pads so I poured some onto a cotton round and put it on pretty heavy but I waited a minute or two to inject. Would have thought it dried by then
 
I hear if you go sub Q that is much better especially with the presertative that's used. If you bf is low and you have no where, chest, bi's, thighs, and stomach are easier and better..

just keep an eye on it, massage it and then ice the spot. it will heal quickly.
 
Yeah that would suck..besides you don't want to be a fitness model bro..an almond a day and nothing but water and all your pictures are on mens walls and not womens..(unless you want it that way). Just sayin..haha

Seriously, rest, massage, ice..keep an eye on it.
 
I did this in my tricep felt like fire! Hurt for a few days same scenario just make sure it doesn't get infected and you'll be fine. Mine swelled up like 1 5" looked like synthol
 
And for the record bacteria can't grow on the aa solution our igf is in, so you nicked a vein most likely as I said
 
The discoloration has subsided but now the skin is raised. It looks like a chemical burn except there is almost no pain besides the initial injection which burned like a bitch. I could feel it spread out as it happened. Freaked me out but I continued with my back workout anyway. It did continue to burn a little for a couple hours. Now I'm scared to IM it again.
 
It's just a nicked vessel. I did the same with a sub q injection last week. Burned for a few days and bruised up and I now have a knot there now and it's tender. Talked to a doc buddy and he said thats what it most likely was as long as it doesn't start getting hot and cause a fever. Just watch it and you should be good in a few days.
 
Blood usually comes to the surface dis coloring area , color varies due to how deep the vein nicked was and how close the blood comes to surface, so could be yellowish to purple red lol
 
I'm wondering if this could have been avoided if you pulled back on the plunger to see if blood came up before you injected the IGF. If so, then you could of pulled out and re-pinned a different area???
 
To much movement of the syringe. Just enter and inject even if its in the blood stream you will need sweets or carbs if its direct in the system then it will take effect quicker. the solution its in will only thin the blood and cause no other issues directly in the system.

I did IM and drank 6oz of apple juice afterwards and mine swelled too and I hit a vein and I felt it immediately..no biggie just know where you are injecting and don't move that syringe around so much.
