Just a little background information. From 2002-2007 I intermittently cycled with Test, Tren and Winny. I stopped all anabolics in 2007 and my gym time greatly reduced and even came to an outright halt. In fact from 2010-2015 I probably hit the gym no more than 30 times. In fact, as time marched on, I spent less time in the gym. Anyways, this past July a good friend, who is a physician, placed me on TRT. Since July, I have been hitting the gym at least 4 nights per week.
The "gains" have come consistently. I started at 238lbs (ht. 5'10" and measurement around my abdomen at the navel was 41). Within the first two weeks my weight shot up to 246lbs. Without a doubt, it was all water weight, which stemmed from an increase in estrogen and just a crappy diet. Fast forward to this week. I am 243lbs and the measurement around my abdomen at the belly button is 37.75.
My strength on squats, incline and deads have all progressed nicely. I feel like I have undergone a modicum amount of body recomposition (resulting from a clean diet, heavy compound movements, exiting a period of inactivity and TRT). The results thus far have been descent, nothing jaw dropping but consistent and the muscle I have gained seems to be quality and not inflated from water retention, as I run a small amount of arimidex.
So now to my question. Is IGF-1 good for me? I turn 37 in just a couple of weeks. My overall goal is to gain quality muscle...not necessarily blow up but gain muscle and get leaner in the process. Also, my right bicep/forearm causes pain whenever I try to curl over 135. The pain is bearable, but I'm very hesitant to go much heavier. It's somewhat frustrating because it really begins stinging once I hit the 8th rep and I resort to just wracking the weight and not really pushing myself any further. Is this something IGF-1 LR3 could help?
I am considering Tren, as that is a very powerful compound that renders some great results. However, I am not sure I am quite ready for tren and I have been entertaining the idea of IGF-1 LR3.
I am open to all opinions. Also, please share what IGF-1 LR3 has done for you.
