New to IGF-1, advice please

Hey guys, I am a 28, about to turn 29 year old who has been training for almost 15 years - since age 14. More than half of my life I've spent in the gym at least 3 days a week (usually 4-5) and I am currently 242 lbs at 5'11. My BF is around the high teens, maybe even close to 20%. I would like to be a shredded 210 or 215 at single digit BF. I began running AAS when I was 25 years old. I felt that I may have been at my genetic limit and I could not break through these plateaus. My father was a powerlifter and my uncle was a bodybuilder. My Dad stayed all natural his entire life while my uncle used to use gear. I like to think I have good genetics, and I have been bigger and stronger than both my dad and uncle since around age 22. My mother's side isn't great w genetics. So all of that is part of the reason why I felt I was close to my genetic limit. I had a bad experience with coming back from a 16 week cycle that included some harsh compounds, but I am at 676 testosterone levels now after being 169 a few months back (3 months after the cycle). Anyways, I started looking into other ways to enhance your physique without messing with your HPTA axis at all. No AAS, no SARMs, etc. Peptides are new to me and I continue to learn every day. So I ordered 2 bottles of IGF-1 LR3 from MC about 6 weeks ago and ran about 40 mcgs IM in the muscle I was training pre workout, and gradually increased it to 80 mcgs by the end of the "cycle". I want my body to desensitize so that I can continue to reap the benefits of IGF-1 in the near future. On the other hand, I heard that because IGF-1 DES has a half-life of only 10-30 minutes, that you can run DES while cycling off LR3 since you give the body 23.5 hours a day to desensitize since it only last a half hour max. Is this true? What is the correct dosage for DES and when is the ideal Time to pin? Also, why is DES so much more expensive? I'm obviously new to the peptide industry, so please bare with me.

Last, could some of you guys that run IGF please do me a huge favor and post what your schedule looks like for running it? How many days on, injections every day vs only on workout days, dosages, length of cycles, amount of time off, pre vs post workout IM injections, anything will help and will be greatly appreciated!

First off welcome Jay. Sounds like you know kw your body pretty well. Look up IGF1 is legit, by Thudgens. He has a pretty good thread on his IGF. Doses, diet times, etc.. Good luck.
 
Welcome. MC Igf is no joke. I just started mine last week and oh my the pumps are unreal. As per Presser, there is no need to go off IGF as you would have to run unreal dosages to saturate your receptors. Keep going and keep growing.

Really? Even with LR3 and it's long half life? I feel like I am desensitizing to it and require more to get the same effect, but any drug over time will do that as your body builds a tolerance to anything over time. I am really surprised to hear that as everywhere I have read says to run it for 45 days maximum. Do you run it every day or just on workout days? And why is DES $200 and LR3 is $70?

I couldnt say as to price difference. I run 40-50 as a maintenance dose and 80 on training days. I think it may be like most things of this nature, you try something and get great results. So you don't per say get use to it, you just are getting the same result. As where when you first started, it was never in your system so you got an almost immediate response.

I hope that made some kind of sence?
 
I have run all kinds of doses of igf and loved everyone if you feel like you are desensitized my guess would be not enough carbs

So you don't have to come off LR3 at all? I have read that your body will desensitize to it after about 45 days....?

I do cycle up and down on my down month I do 30mcg a day but then I have gone as high as 200mcg bilaterally a day, but then I always come back down to the 30mcg for a month

Well, IGF1 LR3 increases the amount of target receptors as it spurs the creation of new tissues. Is there a limit? Well there is no definitive answer to that as of yet I believe.

To my logic the what will ultimately limit your dose is the amount of fuel you can safely ingest and as far as a dosing schedule I would not worry about that as it has a long half life of 24 hours.

As a note, for me 200mcg at one time was the limit and 100mcg ED (50mcg bi-laterally) was the sweet spot.
 
What's up brother welcome to MC. First thing first you're going to see that there are many people who believe many different things when it comes to igf-1 lr3. However it is not like a recreational drug where your body will build up a tolerance and you will become desensitized. As far as the perfect time to use it like I said you were going to see many different ways and 90% of them are not wrong it's almost personal preference you can use a IGF on non training days, the reason you would do that is because your body grows and repairs on non training days igf helps shuttle nutrients into muscles and that is why people use it on non training days just at a lower dosage such as 30 MCG in the morning. But just like everything else your diet has to be correct like I said the reason igf works so well is because it works like insulin it helps your body shuttle all the food you eat into your muscles so they can repair and grow. On training days you can take it Sub-Q or Im, because it will travel to any receptors I can find and bind to them, so if you are taking it on a non Training Day I would definitely do intramuscular in the muscle you train the day before
If you are going to use it Sub-Q that is fine on training days I would suggest 1 - 1 + 1/2 hours before you workout. Then you want to get some fast and slow acting carbohydrates in your system so that you get a optimal pump when you get in the gym. Also because igf has been known to cause hypoglycemia in some people although personally I have never experienced that. The optimal dosage which you will see on here if you read the thread about IGF is 40 MCG bilaterally. I would never go above 120 MCG per day. You will even see that some people will take it on training days in the morning at a low dosage such as 20 to 30mcg like I said so that all the food they eat prior to their workout get shuttled into the muscle, then later in the day before they workout they will do another injection usually 30 to 40 MCG either Sub-Q or IM. At that point it doesn't really matter weather or which way you do it because of the long half-life and you were going to go train and activate the receptors for the IGF to bind to. Personally from all my research and personal experience I would go intramuscular into the muscles you were going to train. There are plenty of people who run a IGF year round at a small dosage such as 30 to 40 MCG per day. Again what I'm getting at is that there is a lot of different opinions and different ways people run a IGF and I don't think that any of them are completely wrong. Now as far as igf Des goes you can get it for around the same price as lr3 however I think the Des that you were talking about that cost $200 is from I suppose it pharmaceutical grade company. If you look at research peptide companies it will be around the same price. As far as your question about using Des two cycle off of lr3 because of lr3's half life being close to 24 hours. I would like to know where you got that information from because from all my years of research and igf which is been about 5 or 6 I have never read or hurt anyone talk about using Des to cycle off of lr3. Now you will hear some people saying they cycle lr3 anywhere between 40 to 60 days, but like I said you will also hear the complete opposite where people run it year round and are still getting the same effects. When it comes to your question about the best time to pin Des would be intra workout. I would do your first exercise 4 sets with a triple drop set at the end to activate the receptors in the muscle you are training then go to the locker room and inject the Des in the muscles your training because of the short half-life which is 10 to 20 minutes. And to your last question as far as posting a schedule of went to Pin, I think I covered that when I explained how everything works. Brother it feels like they are going to blow up. And every time you eat for the next 8-10 hrs you can feel the pump again not as extreme but you feel it

I trained chest last night and only did 40 sq and I am so sore today it is unreal. It is almost like when you first started training and you got sore no matter what you did. Gym Virgin all over again. LOL
