What's the best protein powder?

Hello, My age is 28 and I am a newbie here. I have been searching for the best protein powder in this forum and many lists. But nothing found.
now I am looking for my fitness goals to the next levels.

No brand is the best.

It depends what you are looking to accomplish? Overall increase protien, how price sensative are you, how taste sensative are you ( does it have to taste like a dessert, that is how most morons on the internet determine whose protien is the best)?

I agree. Pesonally, I think your fine just picking out a whey from many of the choices you have obviously already seen. Never noticed a big difference in results, when switching to the high $ "best protein". It's all good imo. If I could afford it, I would take whey post workout & egg before bed every night. I don't care about taste either. It's about the results.
 
Just pick the one with the least additives like pure isolate protein

Man, I use to just drink 1-2 gallons of milk almost daily! Thats no BS, on my life! and I attributed much of my growth in size and strength to drinking a shit ton of milk, whole milk too!

The lady at Wawa finally asked me one day about it, and when I told her, she laughed as if I was joking.

The only time I can drink a shit load of protein is when it comes premade, so in my 20’s I drank mostly the cardboard type container Myoplex, and it seems a lot of manufactures dont make or push the high protein drinks anymore, as I think mine were like 42grams , now days its all bullshit, so much so that I think they are all full of shit, so I just go to BJ’s and Buy 2 or 3 cases of Premier Protein premade shakes, and they 32grams

Mixing powder drinks yourself sucks ass!


edit: As to drinking that much milk, its only recommended if your juicing lol,

Get my premier protein at Costco. Drink on on the way to work and one on the way home every day! Love the convenience.
 
Usually the cheaper the better, but let me qualify this. When it comes to whey concentrate, they are all about the same and anytime I can find it discounted at about a $5/lb I stock up (costco, Sam's, closeout specials). The only problem with concentrate it the gas that is notorious with whey.

The highest quality whey is a whey isolate ( no gas for me at all). $7-10/lb is the sweet spot for buying that for me.

Other than that I like to take Micellar Casein before bed and Peptopro ( this stuff is the best of the best, 80-90% di and tri peptides) peri workout.

Bottom line buy what your budget affords you and just get plenty of it; I highly recommend getting most of your protien from a solid food source, but that is much easier said than done.............and really doesn't answer the thread question :laugh:

I love milk! Go's good with lots of different foods & great protein. I drink it all the time. It does get expensive too
 
I haven't drank any milk in years. Just not my thing and to be honest I have been getting the most of my protein from eggs, chicken, egg whites, beef and that's about it. I do have some protein at the house but only use it when I have too. It bloats me so bad, I fart like an old stud horse.

Milk bloat is awefull, and after year of refusing to give it up. I finally did this year and drink almond milk; the bloat is way down.

For some reason greek yogurt doesn't bloat me like milk ( maybe be cause it is fermented?).
 
I been using the same company for years. I know there are different proteins for different needs/timing . I still order the same whey protein isolate micofiltrated with no sweetener/flavors added and only use water to mix every time. Never Been a fan of milk.
