Avoiding Hypoglycaemia with HGH

I've been using HGH for about a month, slowly upping it to 5iu per day.

The past two days, I've experienced hypo. Blind spots followed by headache and nausea. I got rid of it with lots of fruit and a shake to up my BG but I'd rather avoid for future doses.

Lot's of mixed opinions about this but any quick way to avoid future?

Is it as simple as pre loading up on carbs before administering it? Most thread suggest administering in fasted state is best but I am obviously nervous about this now.

Today I had 2iu first thing in the morning and started getting hypo. Bad. I ate protein and oats and my blood glucose read 110. Then waited and hypo got worse and BG went down to 60. Symptoms were tough. Major tunnel vision. Ate a ton of fruit and some tea with two spoons of honey in it and the symptoms were replaced by a splitting headache. Three hours later, felt fine (after a few painkillers!)

Anyone else had similar?

I read somewhere drink a litre of pineapple juice straight after dose. Maybe worth a try!? If i can't figure this out I'll be forced to ditch the course, which will be a shame as I'm getting great results....

I have not heard of anything like this in that the HGH at 5 units was causing anyone to go hypo.

I know this was posted nearly 3 weeks ago but did you figure out what was the cause?

After a lot of research I learnt that this is due to a spike in IGF causing similar effects to slin post shot. It is a common problem when on a low carb diet. Basically my BG was dipping causing the hypo as I didn't have enough carbs in my system to feed my muscles and thus the IGF was pulling glycogen from my brain! I now eat carbs as soon as I've taken shot and my BG has remained stable. Importantly HGH can also cause a spike in BG (hyper) as it is a slin inhibitor, so it's best to keep a close eye on BG levels until you get your protocol right.

Thankfully after dropping dose for a bit to monitor, I am back to 5iu split between two seperate shots of 2.5iu AM and PM and have had great results and no sides other than joint pain.
