Tom Brady now making 18 million dollars a year, I mean come on im a die hard football fan, love the game, but come on man the country in crumbling financialy and these guys playing a fucking game making all this money realy turns my stomach

Yeah, to play 16 games. Are you kidding me? Over $1 million a game?!? At least baseball players play 162 games and they are on the field the whole game. A QB is on the field what...25 minutes a game? Good lord.

I'm with you, bro. I've always felt that they should get paid $50/hr for practice and game time, and if they win, then you cut them a fat ass bonus check of maybe $100k. If they lose, then they made their $150 or so for playing a losing game.

The ONLY reason why they make what they make, is because people STILL watch them. If nobody gave a shit anymore, there would be no demand, and salaries would drop quickly.

On a slightly different note, there is a movie called "the book of Eli" with denzel washington. It is a post-apacolyptic type movie, where FOOD,WATER,and SURVIVAL are the only mportant things left in life. Its kinda cool, becase it shows you just how much A LOT of things in our day-to-day lives don't mean a damn thing!
