Cutting high rep low weight vs heavy low rep

Guys I began taking my body building seriously this year. However I've come across multiple articles that contradict each other about what is best. I also plan on running a decent cutting cycle as well. Any suggestions for that? Anyway what do you guys do

For cutting high reps not too low weight of 10-12 for 5 sets. For strength I go heavy for sets of 5 for 25 reps

When cutting your generally a little weaker due to a calorie deficit. So lift light to moderate weight with 10-15 reps. When cutting your wanting to bring most definition and graininess to your muscles

If you knew better, you'd do better! Knowledge is power!

The high rep low weight vs heavy low rep has been asked hundreds of times. You have to listen to your body, there's no perfect scenario. That said, GotTren has the right guidelines. Adjust it as you feel.

I've actually done it both ways. I think diet has more to do with it than reps and weight. At least for me it does.

It's diet. The same rules apply to preserving muscle as they do for building it. You don't need to lift differently. You may need to reduce volume or training frequency a little too account for the reduced energy intake.

Speaking of diet. I limited carbs during this last bulk I actually cut the carbs from 600 grams a day to 300 for a leaner bulk. What do you think would be a good amount of carbs? Should I go extremely low or somewhere in the middle

I try to limit and note the amount of simple sugars/simple carbs I consume and at what time. There's so many, as I'm sure your well aware, and trying to eat right amid the vast plethora of tasty snacks and easy/convenient processed shit food/fast-food/frozen-food marinating in some preservative with the sectioned parts of a gargantuan fuckjn chicken that obviously just finished blasting on an incredibly potent hormone cycle, a cycle so hard that the mafk' starts aromatizing after i consume it, stewing around with the fluoride-water and the pesticide soaked Genetically Modified shit makings of a twisted UGL in my own damn stomach... One day your counting carbs the next your becoming exceedingly aware of all the shit you thought was gravy to eat or the shit that is such a common everyday necessity (water, bread), and that it may be fuckin us all up more.. The pesticide (look it up) was tested on amphibians I do believe, and long story short, after exposure, to that which we are very possibly exposed daily, the frogs mating habits began to suffer to the point of almost not reproducing at all; I believe some developed both male and female sex organs, and what was the most shocking note was the behavior the frogs exhibited, the researcher (I'll look his name up) could only describe as "homosexual behavior".. Crazy right? Yea, well I've never been one to believe in hidden agendas or conspiracies but the more I think about it and see the disturbing changes in America each year, the more it looks as tho the attempt to feminize the male population in America may not be that crazy after all.. Just look around.. If it's not intentional than its a huge oversight.. Like deeply inhaling the air in a brand new car over and over, the powerful new car smell many think nothing of is actually dosing you with a small amount of hormone emanating from the fresh plastic.. I'm really sorry I fell into this but I just couldn't stop once I started... Meant to talk about carbs and how to avoid the sugar cycle cravings with complex carbs.... Consequences of hard drugs coupled with the fact that my curiosity peaks at this time of day.. I'll see if there's a more fitting thread..
