Sitting at 203 this morning. Not really sure what's going on but I'm usually dropping weight by the day at this point. To me being close to ready 2 weeks out is always the goal. I approached my last show that way and it went very well. When your ready there is no need for tricks and chance anything. You stick to the diet that got you in that shape. So the day of my show I stayed on the same diet just add a bit more carbs to fill out. No crazy burgers before pre judging or any of that stuff. Salt was on every meal also.

Pic on the left 192 was 5 weeks out from powerhouse classic March 25th '17(show date). Pic on the right 202 5 weeks out from Team U. No matter how close shows are the prep is never the same and I found that out this prep. My body is being stubborn at this point but holding onto my size and getting leaner and harder as the days go on. This can be very confusing for someone who has not done back to back shows before with 12 weeks in between. I figured my body would react the same to certain things I've done for a show I just did 2 months ago but that is not the case. I talked to a very well known coach and he explained to me that he had a client that didn't have to do cardio 6 weeks out from a show. Came in dry and full. Decided to do a show 8 weeks later and had to do double cardio sessions a day and cut back on food intake just to get into the same shape of his previous show. This was something new to me and I'm glad I experienced it.
