HOMEBREWING | Sealing your own ampoules

Hey!

I was wondering if anyone has experience in sealing your own ampoules pretty well. With pretty well I mean a nice round sealing without bubbles or the glas being burned.

BUT....

you will have to connect oxygen supply and propane gas....this can be quite dangerous if you dont know what the fuck you are doing with gas supplies.

Dude, first off welcome to MC, second of all, I have no fucking clue how to make and seal an ampule lol, Hell I didnt even know it was possible for guys like us to do. I thought that was only for big Pharmaceutical companies

Anyhow, im sure we have some guys who know all about this shit, however I am not one of them lol,

Easier to just get vials and cap them. Vials are easier to deal with in many ways! Sealing ampoules that way is to time consuming and not worth the hassle.

Even easier to buy sterile vials.
I peal metal off remove rubber fill vials and change rubber seal and re-crimp top.
When using vac and whatman zap cap filters.
I pour straight from media into sterile 60 ml syringe and fill 6 at time with 16 ga needle.
Then recap.
My little trick and only sterilize media.
But u only have done personal use amounts so sterile vials not an expense.

I would never fool with a little ampule.
That would require an automatic assembly line to make it worth it for Personal use and would have mercy on the guy trying to....

I completely agree with all the above,I'm assuming that this goes beyond *p u* though. If you are still looking into the amps pm me but it would still be easier and cheaper to buy 100vials septums rings and caps along with crimper for $100.00 if you do your research and look around.
