BB Frozen?

yeah im lost with this cats questions, he just asked a question regarding testo p in another thread

The only thing I know of that can happen to a BB is it will degrade and change color due to exposure to uv light. I never heard of it freezing up. Didn't think that was possible.

yeah i didnt think ba or bb could freeze, im nearly positive BA can not, but not real certain of BB

This is normal.
BB tends to solidify when temps drop below around 5 degrees c.
just put the container in a warm place and it will melt within a few hours.

Actually, *everything* will freeze eventually. Benzyl alcohol will freeze -15.2 °C (or what Canadians might call "slightly nippy LOL), Benzyl Benzoate *officially* will freeze at about *18* C, or only a few degrees below room temperature. *However*, like a lot of organic materials, it tends to be metastable below its official freezing point, it will resist crystalization and stay liquid until something triggers it. Just put it somewhere where the temperature is above its freezing point, and it will thaw back out. It won't be harmed by freezing, so don't worry about that.

BB 'freezes' at around 16 degrees Centigrade. So as long as your room temperature is above that, it will remain in liquid form.

Agree. Just the physical form is changed. Freeze and melt. Qaulity is unchanged.

Thanks for the Q?, I just received mine in cold weather and it was frozen. I remembered seeing this post on 1of the forums.
Quick question for my home brewing bro's, is there a safe and fast effective way to solve this then waiting a day?
Right now mine is by the radiator set at 59°F,this won't ruin it will it?
Thanks for any helping replies bro's

Just let it thaw bud. Let it reach room temp on its own. I suppose a heating pad on low setting could speed it up, but no need start complicating things.
