Too much bb?

It's hard to say. Depends on how much bb you actually put into the mix. I brew eq using 3% ba and 15% bb. I use 20% bb for short esters.

You can try diluting your batch like you state above, filter it, and pin like a quarter of a cc to test it out. If it burns like a mofo, then you will need to dilute it even more.

Back in the day (way back) EQ was only available as a veterinarian drug, and it was 50 mg/ml. Fort Dodge comes to mind..lol
