The default style is the blue-ish/cyan looking one, so we used that. It might change in the future.
It is nice if the look is constant, so we don't have to make a lot of changes, maybe at the end of the week, it gets improved and more dynamic.

About the URL; we are looking into that. But we already know it points to the forum directory, and not the frontpage. We hope to fix this with the hosting provider, or do it ourself.

It looks like it just loads a frontpage, with a link to the forums, the webmaster needs to update that, or whatever the owner of this forum wants done. we are discussing this at the moment

The looks of it are ok. I was the second no vote becuase now everytime I have tried to post or go to user cp it freezes and is much slower then before.

Maybe this is a newness glitch. It is not my computer because I recently restored it and early today b4 the change it was going from post to psot fast. Other than that it is cool, now looks more like other sites.

One of the cool things about it before is when I first saw it it looked very different and it gave the sense that their was real good information on the site. And there is. Is the logo still on there? cannot remember, must have resized it or something.

The new features won't slow down the normal behaviour of the site at all. It is seperate from the forum. If there is a new lag, it is due to the server or the internet. Not because of the new frontpage or the new archive or the news ticker.

ok...i may be blind but on the new page i cant find the forums anywhere except when u click on the new posts and then u can get there from there...also...the new 2nd main page is to big for the browser...meaning the right side is hard to see...u have to scroll over to see who had the last post....know what i am talkin about?just my 2 cents

Maybe we should rewrite it ourself and fix it properly. The width of the screen is also an issue.

It maybe just needs a alignement set to baseline or top, rather then center or middle.

Goto the user control panel,
then select 'options',
at the bottom, it will have a drop down menu, you can select a new style there

Today I installed 3 new styles to the site.
Tomorrow I will integrate them further and tweak them, so feel free to Private Message me any errors in links or images.

But,
enjoy! (since we didn't officially announce them yet)

If you can't log out, or having problems loggin in, then the cookie on your hard drive is corrupt.

Steps to fix that:

1- Close all browsers
2- Find the cookie on your harddrive, and delete it
3- Open 1 browser and login again

If you goto http://board1.mantisforums.com/upload/private.php?s= this page and on the right from the drop down select folder: inbox, outbox, tracking .. then you should get it.
It is a per usergroup setting. Administrators can use it, not sure about other usergroups. Ask presser! I can set it, but I can understand why it is turned off too :]
