Might do first show in April

I might do my first show in April. I don't think I am near ready at this point but several people have told me to shoot for the novice. Any advise for me? I am 5'10 192-195lbs 9%bf. I think sometimes I should do it but then I see some bros in the gym who make me look like a skinny bitch.

Very close stats to me, and I'm 4 weeks out from my first (novice) show! I'm about 1" shorter, and 5 lbs heavier, same bf (unfortunately).

My advice is make up your mind ASAP. Decide if you are going to consult with someone, and start that relationship asap (we have 2 great guys here, dpsquat - who is helping me - and Skip! Start planning everything out, april will sneak up on you!

I say go for it!

Thanks WA. I have decided to go for it I believe. I just see a lot of other bros pics on here and feel very small compared to them. I am in the tenth week of my 15 week cycle and don't know when to start the next one to be ready for April. The worst thing I guess that could happen if I compete is make an ass out of myself and believe me been there done that. I would love for some help and advice.

Thanks

Bro just by being on stage is an acomplishment in my eyes, and once you get that taste in ur mouth you will be hooked!

Your stats arn't much diff than mine. Except I am fatter and heavier. Decide to do it now-follow ins to the letter and you will be happy.

Plant your feet, commit yourself to the task, keep your eyes on the prize and don't quit-lots of guys say"I think I'll do a show....would like to do a show.....always wanted to do a show....."-very few of us actually see it through to fruition-Leads to only 1 question-
Are you a talker or a competitor??

Feet are planted guys and I am going to go for it. If any one can help me I would appreciate it.

Thanks

I agree 100% EVERYTHING will be smoother if you have someone to be with you step by step.

I was hesitant at first but the help they give you is unbelievable.

I also agree 2 great contest prep guys. I am with Skip and he has done a FANTASTIC job.
