I have a close friend who I am assisting with his contest prep for the NABBA Australian Nationals on 13 September (yeah we are both Aussies).
He set his target for this show 12 months ago and slowly commenced dropping from an off season high of 130 kg (approx 290 lbs) down to the point where he was 117 kg (approx 260 lbs) 16 weeks out.
We had been formulating a strategy to use a modified "shitloading" concept anyway as one of his friends (an IFBB Pro) uses a similar approach. It was around this time that I met Skip (over at Bolex as it happens) and we have had a number of conversations since then.
I would like to publicly thank Skip for sharing his knowledge and providing feedback to me, an unknown on the other side of the world. He is a true gentleman
I am putting up this thread to detail the approach we used, show the pics (before and after) and seek feedback from the members here.
The prep went something like this.
