Canned Salmon !!

I am 4 weeks out as off saturday and I have eliminated all fruits and absolutely no dairy products for the rest of the way. I am wondering if anyone has used canned salmon in there prep before and if I should just cut it out. I know there is alot of fat in it (it says so on the can) but I am under the impression that it is good fat. What do you think. I basically would only eat it at work because I can't really cook there. Let me know what your opinion is.

i love canned salmon. much better than tuna but you are right, there is 7g of saturated fat in a can(15oz) but thats not much.
when you consider getting 85 grams of protein in one can it doesn't matter that much.

dude if you can afford salmon eat as much of it as possible....the fresh kind of course....for future reference drop your milk out at 8-10 weeks...and the fats are the good EFAs.....

It's Ok to eat the canned salmon with 7g of saturated fat ? The only milk I have been taking in since june is in the No fat no suger added pudding . That has been my cheating tool once every ten days. Pastacio Pudding YUMMMMMM. Anyway You have to add two cups of milk to it. So I figured If that was my only cheating then I could deal with it, however being 4 weeks out I have eliminated the cheating and have been ridding the three days low carbs and 1 day high carbs and have went from 215lbs with a bf of around 18 % to 173lbs and roughly 5% bf. I have done this since june. something like 43 pounds in 3 months. Double cardio a day started posing for a half an hour 3x a week when I was 6 weeks out. My question is with the canned salmon because I can't bring a fresh salmon to work would I be able to eat the canned salmon even though it had 7g of saturated fat in one can, also has 70 + g of protein in the same can? Any comments.

you sure about the 70 g protein and 7 g fat.....fresh salmon has like 35g protein and 12 g fat per 4 oz I think...I dont have my book w/me but it is something like that!

NO, I am not sure. Huntergather wrote that a fifteen oz can had 7g of saturated fat and 85 grams of protein. I haven't gone to the store to buy it, with doing double cardio and split training am and pm sessions man I have a hard time finding time to do anything. But I will make time to buy cans of it if it is smart to use for my prep, heck I love the stuff.
