Who's training for a show in 2004?

I'm contemplating doing my first NPC show, but looking for a small state level show in the Northeast to start.

Chuck

I may do my first show in 04 - a local show maybe with only like 2 other competitors - so I place...lol
I am cutting down now and then will try and add some mass next year - slow and steady.

I'm definitely doing a show in 2004. Anyone have any suggestions for a good one? I'm in the Tri-State area PA-NJ-DE.

I plan on doing only one though. I did three this past year and it was very tough. I dieted more this past year than eating what I wanted!! I was extremely miserable at times.....poor presser!! LOL!!
SO i would like to do one nice...hopefully big show.

Come on up to Syracuse in June for the Ironman Classic! Then I'll take you and Presser out to the Dinosaur BBQ for some real good biker food afterwards.

Kid,

Is that an NPC show?

I was stationed at Fort Drum from May of 89 - Dec of 92. My wife and I lived in Sackets Harbor (great town) and we went to the Mall in Syracuse a lot.

June sounds like a good time to compete.

Chuck

Kewl Chuck...so you been to the Dinosaur?
Yes the Ironman Classic is an NPC show, National Qualifier for the overall winner (which was yours truly this year!) :)

Me and some buddy's have taken a few rides up through Sacketts harbor on our HD's, and usually stop at 1 of the restuaants overlooking the water for some food and beers.

I'm not familiar with the Dinosaur.
The restaurant your talking about is The Boat House (our favorite). Nothing like a Draft Beer and a bowl of New England Clam Chowder (we're from the Boston area).

The show is not listed on the 2004 NPC calendar. Do you have a link or any info on the show? I have family in West Winfield, N.Y. who I'm sure would come out if I competed.

Chuck, last time I spoke with the promotor(also a friend of mine) he was still working on an exact date. However I am having lunch with him today so I will know more then.
Here's a link to his website, it is not yet updated but you could check it out:

LOL......tell her you won't be as miserable dieting this time!
It really is a 1st class show, nice stage backdrops, good guest posers (Palumbo was this past June, Cutler was here for the '02). In fact, you can see part of the stage setting in my pics posted in the members competion pics forum.
He's a Muscletech rep so along with trophy's class winners get supplements too.

Getting ready as we speak for the NPC New Jersey State Championships Saturday, April 3rd 2004 in SuperHeavy class. The site is yet to be determined, its either Bergen Tech or Kenilworth H.S. from what John Kemper told me, but the date is set-in-stone.

Is Palumbo still running around with the musscletech people posing free?
saw him this past summer......so-so shape. but nice guy.

Starting to up my cardio and cut out the junk as we speak. Am planning one in MD and one in PA. Aug and Sept.
