Whats peoples views on carbing up the last few days before a show.
Im on around 215g carbs a day
at a weight of 149lb at 6% b/f
My plan for the last 10 days follows-
10 days out-
140g carbs
add salt (1 tsp)
9 days out-
(same as 10 days out)
8 days out-
130g carbs
add salt (1 tsp)
7 days out-
(same as 8 days out)
6 days out-
(same as 8 days out)
3 litres water
5 days out-
115g carbs
2g vit-c
4 litres water
depleation workout (25 rep sets)
4 days out-
(same as 5 days out)
5 litres water
3 days out-
75g carbs
5g vit-c
6 litres water
depleation workout (25 rep sets)
2 days out-
288g carbs
0-sodium
7g vit-c
8 litres water (evian)
1 baked patatoe every hour till bed time
1 day out-
288g carbs
0-sodium
10g vit-c
10 litres water (evian)
baked patatoe every hour till 8.00pm
sip water from 5.30pm
3 bannanas throughout day (for potassium)
last thing at night 180g fillet steak
SHOW DAY
1.00pm pre judgeing
breakfast- fillet steak 400g
2 litres water throughout day
10g vit-c
3 bannanas throughout day
20 mins before pre judgeing 500mg niacin + 2 squares dark choclate
Are there any changes or alterations i should make.
Would carbing up for only two days be sufficient and what protein sources should i use for the last 2-3 days and when.
I did something similar to this last year but didnt notice much difference as i dehydrated to much.
Any constructive critism would be apriciated
