this is how my days are going right now. for the first week of my comp ive been cooking my food or preparing my meals everynight. i am lucky because i have a a professional german chef at works who cooks my chicken fresh if i ask him but here's how i do it once in a while.

get home from my workout at 7 at night and have my shake.

measure my brocolli add water and cook in microwave
measure my egg whites and poor in my shake for morning meal
measure my dry oatmeal andleave it on the table to add water to in AM
measure my chicken and cook it in steamer or bring it to work for CHEF
get 3-4 cans of tuna and drain and prepare them
fix my two shakes for the next day and leave on table.
get my tuna that i prepared the night before, and my oatmeal from tonight and cook and eat.

this all takes 45 mins usually.

then i wait another hour or two and have my cottage cheese before bed.

now to cut down on this i could measure all my chicken and broccolli on sunday night and leave it in the freezer. you just have to makea schedule and do nothing else until it gets done. defaintly dont sit down after your workout or after you get home from work cuz then you;ll get lazy.

dont rationalize anyting to yourself and dont make it acceptable to not do

I cannot stress how important it is to prepare everything ahead of time. For me, I don't have a chef, so I cook my chicken Sunday night for the week and put in baggies. Almost all my veggies are microwaveable(except for the salad greens, tomatoes and cucumbers) so those are easy to do nightly. I cook my eggwhites and turkey sausage the night before and the oatmeal I make at work. Protein powder goes with me all all day as does my gallon jug of water.
Planning meals is sooooo critical while prepping for a show.
