Best way to do a 3 day workout

Ok, so I am used to 5 day workouts usually hitting chest bis tris and legs twice a week with a few day in between and. I spread out my workouts and throughout the week. Now with work and energy I can really only get 3 days in As for days it varies based on my overtime and energy... But Friday & Saturday are a constant (only days off) So, what is the best way to optimize 3 days a week? What kinda workout would be sufficient is it imperative to do 5 days or can three be key? (Am I just being dumb feeling like 3 isnt enough am I an old dog who doesnt realize new tricks?)
 
Being that you're natty atm, you'd be able to optimize those three days with a full body routine.

Since you have friday and saturday every week, instead of doing a full body those two days, you could do something lke an Upper/lower on those two days, and then that one other day of the week, you could do a full body.

I'm a proponent of full body routines for those who can't get to the gym a lot, because you know for sure that you're getting at least that one day of exercise for each muscle group.
 
If it was me only having 3 days per week and Shoulders being such a small muscle + a part of most upper body workouts. Mon rest or cardio, Tues rest or cardio, Wed delts/tries/no cardio, Thurs rest,no cardio, Fri legs, Sat Chest,Bies, Sun rest or cardio. I been doing this a long time and still only work each muscle once a week.

nah you can still grow and gain from just 3 days a week brutha! for sure!

legs

and alternate your shoulders into one of those days each week, surely can be done though with ur limited available gym time
