Should I do humerus surgery

Snowboarder took me out. It took 2 hours to put my dislocated shoulder back in place. Need to go to Asia for business. Might have surgery Wednesday.

Should I let it heal on its own or surgery? Doctor says since I am 42, great health now 9% bf to do below.

RECOMMENDED SURGERY: LEFT OPEN REDUCTION, SURGICAL FIXATION LEFT PROXIMAL HUMERUS WITH POSSIBLE BANKART REPAIR WITH POSSIBLE REMPLISSAGE

If I do surgery, anyone that has done above

What did you eat?

When did you start working out?

Your protocol that got you healed?

Gear?

If you let it heal on its own what did you do above.


I have had several surgeries including a distal bicep tear, wheel chair bound for 2 years & 44% bf at the time & beat stage 4 cancer. I am only alive because I am humble so I will listen to all suggestions.

I have no experience in this realm... But best of luck to you man. Only surgery I've ever had was a kidney donation surgery. It took me 4 months to get back in the gym, but once back in, I eased into it and kept on moving forward.

OK so you're obviously dislocated and it looks like a humeral head FX too, surgery. ORIF dude

You're Y-View will show a good angle of this too (where they had you angle injured shoulder forward hand either over your stomach, or hand internally rotated)

Did you obtain the post op pics yet or are you still in? Yeah I saw that FX on the humeral head :O but didn't see the things that you obviously need to be in there to see or an MRI. I hope you're doing OK bro

Surgery went well! I had to travel international for business. I am now In Malaysia.

Malaysia? damn don't waste any time huh haha. I'd go with GH my DR tld me do it after my tricep tend tear.
I asked him if it would help and he literally stared at me for 30 seconds as if I just said "dogs make poopy" lol he was like uhhhhh yeah of course it will. He proceeded to tell me how to mix it, when and how much to take etc. He was awesome
