I pulled some muscles in my neck a couple times getting distracted in the gym. On benchpress look straight up and don't move your head or eyes you could pull your neck. On deadlift and squats same thing. Yesterday I pulled something in my neck doing side rises just my turning my head ever so little. Be careful!
 
the slightest little things that you give no thought to being a problem can screw you up pretty bad. i remember i was loading a truck way back when, load heavy stuff all night long no trouble at all. picked up a box with a louver in it, only weighed a few pounds. tossed it over my shoulder into the truck and threw my back out. freaking hurt for days.
so yeah take care when just doing things. it's so easy to screw up. get focused and shut your eyes if you have to, so you don't look at that girl in the tights, lol.
