Has anyone ever used Powertec Leverage equipment. As I get older I find myself working out more and more at home. I still go to the gym most of the time. I have been buying equipment over time. I have all commercial stuff from gyms that have closed. I have a nice smith, a squat cage, dumbells, bike, treadmill, leg press and some other stuff. I have always liked the plate loaded cybex stuff. My problem is I only have a 20X20 place to put all the equipment and it would cost 30K to buy cybex. I was looking on ebay and saw a powertec workbench multisystem. I have never seen one in person. Has anyone ever seen one or used one. I hate cheap equipment. I realize it is not commercial, but looks pretty sturdy and has a lot of plate loaded stuff in a pretty little space. I stick with free weights and the smith most of the time, but like to mix it up sometimes. I just wonder if this thing is any good. Here is a link to it.

no not sure about it bro, but i do know a guy here on mc who owns a big company with all this stuff, im pretty sure they even make the equipment, if you want i can give you his contact info, aqnd ill also try to remember the name of his company, you probably heard of them, and i think they make equipment to your specs if asked to

That is nice stuff. That is the kind of equipment I have and like. Is that place all around the country? I guess they probably ship.

I've looked into the powertech stuff. Dicks Sporting Goods has the multi gym on display and are only asking $999 so, I checked it out. Pretty solid. BUT..... The ab station looks weak. Not enough clearence area to add increased weight. Also, the pull down set up is weird. It can hit your head when working tris. So now your left with squat, chest/shoulders for $999. Im planning on getting there freestanding squat machine and the freestanding chest/shoulder press. Total cost is a bit less. Space COULD be an issue. I was all gunho about this system untill I actually used it.

I just wanted to bump this. I was at a local used commercial fitness equipment dealer last week. He had a 7' power rack on the showroom floor. It was a real nice rack and for the price I had to get it. I did not realize it was Pro-Elite until we were loading it up and he told me the brand. This equipment is top notch so if anyone is looking for this type of equipment for a gym I would give them a try.
