You'll laugh at a few things I do, but no joke people told me that they even do some of the things I do.
Music of course as we all know, but change it up, somthing that is not out of your taste, but not in your norm. Like I been adding techno and anything with a motivated beat to my cardio. I mean I listen to hard core shit that makes my hair stand up and get chills and I want to smash faces, but that is for pumps. lol
The dance or techno has really added like a placebo to my cardio, mostly when I run outside.
Or I day dream, fantasize about if I won the lottery, and just think of things and what it would do, I just take myself to a distance place in though and get lost. I do the same when sleeping at night and it works like a set of tits to a new born baby!
When doing cardio, doing think about it pre, or even period. Just act as if its nothing and just jump in like nothing, once the wheels get spinning and your mind gets going and before you know it its over.
Also, when I run outside and Im alone, I take different paths now and then. and I sing cadences from my boot-camp ( back when, long story ), but I do it with breathing, I work on breathing but use my breathing as rhythm, something we did in PT. It helps with keeping in step and passing time, staying in order is the best word. It sounds moreless like forced breathing but with a tempo.
