Now that the new men's fitness division has been brought to light, is anyone considering a different federation or just sticking it out until something new comes about? I'm really wanting to NOT do an NPC show now, but really, there's not much else to really look at right now. I hate to keep deepening the pockets of the idiots that are coming up with this stupid shit. It's crazy, it's all a money game obviously at this point, but there's gotta be a point where enough is enough and they'll lose some competitors (one would think) due to the length of these shows now

NPC will always be the number one federation, no one is going to compete elsewhere as that where all the top competition is

Its sad man. I agree with you. Unfortunately there are no comparable organizations out there and a lot of guys have already spent years developing a resume and getting their name out there in the NPC. It would take options and an egregious event for anything to happen.

I am not looking forward to getting out of shows till 12:00am or later.... but you would also think that its got to be a pain for the judges too-- they have to stick around after the show is done to talk to competitors. I think its hard enough to remember everyone you judged that day, but now you are talking a lot more people... Don't know how that is going to go over... I am with another suggestion that separates the fitness, all of it, from bodybuilding. Maybe hold that part in the middle of the day.

I just don't see why they can't seprarate some of the shows up instead of having it all on the same day. I mean you could do a men's/women's bodyuilding show then the next week the men's/women's fitness, but of course that'll never happen so I guess we just get to suck this one up. Unfortunately the next show I want to do, whether it be 2011 or 2012 is already one of the bigger shows in this region

It all comes down to Money Honey! No one would show up if they just had a mens and womens fitness figure show,

So sad but you're right... I complained back in 09 about this... I compete as a heavy which all of you know we go on dead last... I was doing my posing routine one time @ 1:15am.... I hadnt had a drink since 2 that afternoon and more important i was soooooo sleepy! it was 169 competitores and 129 of which were figure!!! Standing room only in fact they sold tickets to an "outside" audience who watched from a large flat screen... When I hit the stage.... Crickets.... everyone was almost gone... fuckin embarassing.... Somethings gotta give! Bodybuilders will eventually be pushed back to the old days and we'll be competing at the local fair... alone! lmao!

a few years ago some promoters tried "men's fitness" and modeled somewhat like the old women's fitness routine contests......to say it was gay is an understatement

I did a show a few years ago where they had that as well- the prize was a modeling contract.
Needless to say it was pretty gay...
