Who does lower pecs? Decline bench ect. I stoped years ago - I was strong
at it but I didn't want all that mass hanging when I got older. Who works
lower and how is it effecting your chest?? I just figured diet and mabey
pullovers would tighten them and I concentrate more on upper chest. What do ya think.

I'm with you. My lower chest grew much quicker than my upper chest ever has. I think my shoulders take over too much when it comes to incline

Not that it's a waste of time, but I found flat and incline bench to be plenty and overall it have been more beneficial to chest development.

Ditto - I kinda liked decline years ago cus I could go really heavy. (looked impresive) Now just stick to incline and flat.

I developed some bad shoulder pain from heavy flat. So i switched to heavy incline and decline.

Did the trick.

i agree with Normalsucks, flat bench is a bitch after a while. Thats because its not a natural motion, now if your look at Hammer strength machines they all have their handles on a slight angle, thats why most people with shoulder problems use these

I never do decline. I stick with flat and incline. I think incline dumbell's works my overall chest the best. I do pullovers sometimes.

i was thinking of that recently myself... i don't have a huge amount of meat on my pecs... never had.. at least on the lower half like i see some others do, but I never have the muscle density as the top/mid section of the pecs either.. was concidering declines, but to be honest,... i can't stand them... i like lower cable fly's though

if you see all the pros, their upper chest is greatly overdeveloped to their lower chest. There nipples are always way at the bottom of the pec, pointing down. If you like this look, then I wouldn't even bother with lower chest development.

everyone once in a while I might do dips for lower chest, but I rather ever hit lower chest.

I'm 6'2" and I have a long torso and I remember years ago a lot of the taller bodybuilders recommended skipping flat if you're tall and just doing decline and incline and your mid chest would get hit in the process. I did it for a while and actually got really good results and gave my shoulders a break. But more importantly my chest development skyrocketed after a long plateau... something to keep in mind if you've got a long torso.

I have read this myself. Sadly, I'm like Stickler in that I just don't have a lot of mass on my chest. It's one of my worst bodyparts. I did get some good results doing just decline and incline for a while. I'm back to flat bench at the moment.

yep, my chest was/is one of my worst bodyparts. I stopped doing everything except for incline bench and incline/flat dumbell flyes. That got my chest to finally grow and my strength went up greatly.
