If i could find something else with the same amount of potassium (537mgs), id stay away from bananas.

For some reason, the 18g of sugar doesn't to as much for me as say, an apple. Comparing a cup of apple to a banana. The apple has (134mgs) of potassium.

calories =133g
total fat= 0
total cholesterol = 0
sodium =2mg
total carbohydrate=34g
fiber= 4g
sugars=18g
protein = 2

this food is very low in Saturated Fat, Cholesterol and Sodium. It is also a good source of Dietary Fiber, Vitamin C, Potassium and Manganese, and a very good source of Vitamin B6.

The bad: A large portion of the calories in this food come from sugars.

IMO, the sugars of fruits like bananas or apples are good sugars. I see no reason to avoid them, even when you're dieting.

sugar is sugar. still creates an insulin response. depending on the glycemic number, the response could be identical.

yeah saud... when your look at 100grams of carbs for the day. 1 banana would be almost 20% of that. Its just something to keep in mind, specially if your already having a bad day.

if your conscience about it, you also might just save that fruit for 25 minutes before your workout.

or, i guess these guys who are on stage totally cut fruit out at some point.

If your looking for potassium bro get you some of this. No sodium at all and really almosts tastes like salt. I use it on everything gets you full 100% potassium intake in about 6 servings.

I think i picked it up at walmart i cant really remember one of them lasts for a long time. It was either walmart or walgreens something along those lines.
