I run a lot and do a lot of cardio so I can get away with eating a lot more carbs than most and I actually need them to replace the lost glycogen post workout. So basically I eat ALL sorts of carbs but I prefer non proccessed and natural carbs like whole grain rice
You should throw some white bread in. It unlike the carbs you listed is absorbed very quickly. This will help at the end of a workout to blunt the flow of cortisol. Baked pototo is one which you listed. Slower carbs include pasta, most fruit, sweet potato, oatmeal, whole wheat and rye bread and cereal.

yeah Glen brings up a good point, things like white bread have there place. I guess when I get ready to start cutting I'll have to look up glycemic index's of different foods to find out digestion rates etc. I try and have at least some protein and definitely water with all of my carbs

I know after a good run you should consume water and fruit --as told by a marthon runner from work, but what about after a good lift? Since, Glen brought that up...it made me realize that I have no idea...I always just "wing it".
