I know what plenty of people are thinking...'another crossfit cultist'.

I have hit the iron hard for years--originally starting with the intent to compete, but college derailed that plan.

I now do mostly crossfit only, but there's still some heavy lifting involved with crossfit--whether in some of the workouts or by itself, just for the benefit of increasing strength. The workouts are great, varied, and intense. And you're essentially getting your cardio work in, too. I'm not really one that gets into the whole 'community' aspect of it or anything though, I'm just there to kick my own ass and then go home.

I started taking 150mg/wk of test. In the past, I had tried some var (solo), but it turned out to be giving me too great a pump (particularly in the lower back) for me to be able to do the workouts. I had to stop crossfit workouts for a week or so and the var altogether.

Test has been great, as I assumed it would be. No problems there. I'd like to add something else, but am worried about the pumps. So, Eq, tren, var, probly winny, too, are all out. I was wondering about masteron enth, though.

Can anyone help on this? I have ZERO experience with that particular substance, so I don't even have an opinion. Or does anyone have any other suggestions?

I think I might be able to get away with nandrolone, but that's not really the way I wanted to go.

Thoughts or suggestions?

Thanks

I don't know about anyone else but tren just kills my endurance so I don't know if the benefit of lifting heavier outweigh the possibility of not being able to finish a damn course lol.

Winny is awesome and I had zero joint issues or ligament problems. Pumps were intense and always tight so not sure how that would be for you but the strength is great too.

The only thing I'd worry about if you'll be more injury prone (especially in a sport where it seems injury is around every corner) on var and winny. I hear var is great but drys joints out around 80mg ed which is what I've seen happen and winny in high doses too.

Those are my experiences with those. EQ is nice since it doesn't make you hold as much water as decca and still be able to grow some good lean mass over a long period.

Maybe a test prop, EQ, var and winny

I personally think equipoise would be best suited for crossfit considering it produces more red blood cells/ hemoglobin count then the other compounds, resulting in better endurance, speed, and recovery time. I would think EQ would be killer for crossfit. Atleast thats what i always knew or atleast thought to know to be true about EQ years ago. If its good enough for race horses then why not i suppose.

Thanks for the reply.

That's a good thought. My original thought was that the increased red blood cell count would create too much of a pump when working out. Maybe not?

Winny always gave me killer lower back pumps. I know that that kind of pump would keep my from being able to finish a crossfit workout.

I had wanted to try masteron enanthate, but everything I've read suggests masteron gives you crazy pumps.

I've been fine with the test. No crazy pumps. I mean, I get a pump from my workout, but nothing debilitating.

Primo, though expensive, seems like it could be a possibility, too.

Here's the thing, in a workout like this: using deadlifts @ 225lbs...21 deadlifts, 21 handstand pushups, 15 deadlifts, 15 handstand pushups, 9 deadlifts, 9 handstand pushups...my lower back gets pumped anyway. You figure you're doing all that with no rest in between (or just catching your breath, maybe). The pump from winny from that workout would probly keep me from even getting to the second set of 15.

I really need something that typically has zero to slight pumps associated with it (like test does). I'm just not sure what all compounds I have left to me because I've always used things that DID give me a pump.

Well i really think EQ would be the best choice, and I also wanted to toss out a little secret to some, that many guys use when doing high volume training which is a small drink with banking soda/powder which a lot of NFL combine guys use to use when i was younger so they could do the high volume tests at the combines, it kills your lactic acid and helps with the pump problem, so i just thought i would toss that out there for ya as well bro!

Also if or when you do find the right combo of gear for your crossfit training, make sure you let us know what it is, I know a lot of guys crossfit now and the information you provide could be very useful to many!

Thanks for the tip! I'll try that out.

I'll be sure to report back with what I discover (good or bad...).

You've gotta think that if test has done this in the past for you, then EQ would also be great because it's the closest compound to test that you can get without actually getting test
