Last set last rep 280 pushed to 13 and comming up on 13 focoused on breathing i tweeked my shoulder. Not a tear as i have torn right side in the past but like felt the muscle jump up,,(( remember when you were a kid and punched your friend in the leg it was called a frog)) that what my shoulder felt like. Stoped right away cold then hot then cold. Pain on a 1 being low to a 10 being high im at a 3.

Worried about sleep and how stiff its going to be in morning. Thank god left side. Happened about 6 hours ago. UGGGGGGGGG i dont want to be hurt
 
Just rest and ice it. You may also want to keep it slightly elevated if at all possible while you're sleeping maybe place a pillow under your arm
 
WFT!? We're dropping like flies around hear! Sorry this happened man. Is it your front delt or closer to where the pec ties in? Did it knot up like you've been frogged?
 
Shoulder injuries are freaking no fun, I have to fight thru mine everyday, hope it gets better
 
Thanks,Today little pain maybe a 3 still. Front delt. No knots. I stretched it a bit. Kinda tight. Will def be takeing a week off or so and keep icing it. Just sucks being hurt.
 
Moving some heavy weight too. I haven't been able to bench in 5 years, but I am doing dumbells on bench and went 80'sX15, 90'sX15, 100'sX15, 110'sX10, and 120'sX8 and I could def feel some pain in my shoulder the next day.
 
Good news that it's not too close to the pec tie in and really good news there's no knot. Nothing worse than being injuried when you're a dedicated lifter, it's very frustrating. Rest it and focus on crushing your legs. Some IGF pinned close to the injury might speed up recovery also. Hang in there bro, and be careful not to load up that shoulder too soon.

Pain is down a bit, I did take 1 alieve and 1 anti inflammatory pill. Ice and heat all day so far an as I'm typeing this no discomfort. I think I scared myself more than anything. A few years back I had a bad right shoulder injury that put me out for a year and a few months. I think I'll give my whole body a break.

now thats listening to your body. For years I knew better then what my body was telling me. didnt work to good for me. lol
Listening to your body will keep you in the game long term.
 
Yea bro just take ot very easy, the shoulder is nothing to mess around with. It can cripple your whole training since it's involved in nearlt every movement. I know when I had cuff problems I couldn't even lift my arn to hold the bar to squat
 
I've had that. I would ice it for a day and use DMSO on it. After that do some heat and keep massaging it. When I get injured I take advantage of that time to forget about the gym for a bit (takes some practice) good much bro and keep us posted
 
Thanks all, It def a addiction the gym e/d for me. Weather sparring, weight training,gymnastics. I do something everyday to stay busy, now its a habbit.
Going to try and do nothing for 7 days, 1 day in and to stay busy i shopped for a new phone,came home with nothing cas thease smart phones and confusing. What ever happened to just a phone? lol

Anyway pain free when relaxed, bringing my left arm to my side and comming up to the left not strait up but bringing up the side i feel tight mim pain.

My one friend who fights was saying TB500 all day to me. He swears by it for his knee. In not that bad off to try but anyone ever use TB500 for repair.

Years ago when i hurt my right shoulder i aslo could not do the bar it hurt that bad. Took a bit over a year to get the ball rollen again.
 
I remember not wanting to take a day off. I thought I would lose all my muscle. lol I went on vacation for a week and didnt
work out at all. Got home, hit the gym to bench. Wanted to see how much I lost. I was a little stronger on bench then
before I went on vacation. Guess my body needed the time off. Sometimes off time is good. Just start back EASY.
 
I've never heard of TB500 or DMSO, I mean I've heard people talk about it, but have no clue what either is. Others have said they've gotten great results from both so it may not be a bad idea
 
Where do you buy DMSO? I've never used it. I'd rub just about anything on my shoulder if I knew it make it feel better.

It's a godsend bro. I got mine from a veterinary supply store a while back. It's dirt cheap. Not only does it dramatically improve recovery from soft tissue injuries, but its a great pain reliever. I'll see if I can find it again and send you both a link.

I get DMSO at health food stores. Well the last time I bought it I got it there. Shoulder still tight, only slight pain say like if I were holding a gal of milk and pouring it on cereal. Confient I can take the time to heal up. My guy busted my balls yesterday telling me let do legs. Still mentally kicking myself in ass for going more when I should have stoped. Dumb ass I am.
