I hear accutane is the best, but hard on the Liver. Tetracycline is commonly prescribed for acne.

doxy, mino, tetra, mainly the same thing each one works slightly different on each person.I started on tet, then got put on doxy then mino. No sides until i came off and got the flue then strep and all sorts of shit cause my imune system was dependant on anti b's . now when ever i have a flareup of body acne my dermatologist puts me on prednisone for 4 days and it dissaperes instantly.(He calls me out on aas every time). Prednisone is a cordico steriod. I know you knew that but thought it would be good info for the thread.

The immune system cannot 'rely' on antibiotics!
Corticosteroids are great to fuck up your body chemistry too. Also, to destroy your intestinal falura and give you a massive case of candida, especially as a bodybuilder being prone to it due to crappy quality protein shakes.

Doxycycline has no sides for year round use. Very easy ont he body, BUT, since it is an anti-biotic, you need to have probiotics and l-glutamin every day to keep candida at bay. Candida is a VERY serious condition if you didn't know.

Obviously, accutane is the most effective treatment, but it's damn harsh! Nothign comes close to it's toxiticy levels. Basically it works because it makes you shed your skin.

Big A, I know prednisone can fuck ya up royally, but is 5mg's a day for three days maybe once a year that bad. I might have to go Apeshit on my dermatologist.

So wait, why is it that Prednisone clears up the acne?? I do realize the anti-inflammatory effects of prednisone, and that it is used for infections sometimes, but I have never heard of it used for acne???

somthing to do with cortisone/cortisol and oil production I think. I used to know but every time I take a new class shit I used to know gets forgotten.

Benzaclin works good for me, as a cream, and pills, im taking Tetracycline, works ok, about 3/4 of the way done. Might have to go to accutane, im not seing the results that i want.

can you just ask your doctor to put you on these meds?? and will he?? ive still got some shit on my back from last cycle. its not really bad but its bad enough to piss me off
