Fat Gripz...

I've been looking at these and have really been wanting to buy a set, but wanted to see if anyone had any feedback on them. If you've never seen them, they slip on barbells and dumbbells to make it a fatter bar. I like the fatter handles, but was curious about these. They had them at the Arnold for $35 (blue) and $45 (red) or both for $65 and I passed on them because I wanted to get some feedback first and know that they're only like $40 on the internet

Very much worth the money! Great investment, especially with you wanting to do some competitions. Elitefts and rogue fitness both are good places to get them

Thanks man, Rogue was the one at the Arnold who had them actually. I've been wanting them so I think that'll be my next purchase

Yeah Rogue makes beautiful stuff...

I have used these for dumbell curls and definently incorporates forearms more.

We have what is called an "axle" in strongman or a 2-2.5" barbell for those of you who haven't used or seen one before. I use this on bench press or pressing motions, and it makes the lift much much harder. It also alleviates pain on joints because your hand grip leaves your hand much more open and takes pressure off the elbows.

A great addition for a new routine. Though technically slightly more dangerous on pressing motions IMO, because it is easier to lose your grip...

I haven't actually seen how big they make the bar in person, but I've seen the grips in person so I can't make an accurate assessment. I'm really leaning towards getting them and giving them a run. Might actually order it this weekend lol
