Finally hit 270lbs this morning...dont know what it was, or why I was that much (well ofcourse from eating alot) but I must be on a killer growth spurt. This is the first time ive been up to 270lbs since 2006. Back in 2004-2005, I got up to about 285lbs (held about 280lbs) that was the biggest I ever got. Since dieting down in 2006 for the Conntinnetal USA show, I have always stayed pretty lean and closer to contest weight. But, I needed a change so this year im trying to get as big as possiable and see if I can hold that weight to be a super next year. Time will tell...:bench:

270lbs....holy shit! Man I truly have to say good job bud. I have to say I can't even imagine how much you would have to eat to even stay that size.

Keep killing it man and don't hesitate to pass down some of your nutrition knowledge to us ;)

Hell yea brother! Whatever you're doing is definitely working. Couldn't see your midsection in your last pics but your arms and legs still pretty lean so you're putting on the good stuff. Congrats bro! Do you think you might change your goals, weight wise since you're going to hit the target sooner rather than later?

honestly there is no secrets or anything like that...I just have been pounding the food down, and eating tons of protein, and healthy fats. with timed carbs around workout times...Nothing really that special...I try to get in 6-7 meals each day, and I now get up in the middle of the night and have some cottage cheese (not on purpose) but its habit now. The focus is just eat, train, rest, and do it all over again...

I know Mike Ross and I will be going over some offseaon nutrition and supplement stuff this weekend...so maybe ill have some good info for everyone after the weekend...

How is your health- are you holding up, or are you finding it's harder than it was before to reach the same or similar goals?

I am curious about this as well, i know you had some issues in the past, hopefully everything is going well for you.

Congrats man, as long as it's a relatively lean 270 it's definitely going to be nice come show time

well I went to the doctor, and told him kinda what I was going to do...he was my childhood doctor and has watched me forever. he knows im going to do what I want to do..so he just tries to watch me, and take care of my health...I upped my b.p. meds (we doubled the dose) and I do cardio 4-5 times per week, for 45-60 mins each time...doing the cardio, taking the bp meds, some herbs for bp has really helped alot...I watch my bp like a hawk, and just try to take as many percausions as possiable...its not perfect, but to be honest Im prob in better overall health than in past, just because im taking care of myself and not just taking crazy high doses...so overall its better than in the past...knowledge is everything...

how long are you doing your cardio sessions? i just stated adding it for the sole pupose of increasing my health.

I just started again about 5 weeks ago...and it has made a big differnce on how i feel, and how much I can eat. I can eat alot more, and my metabolism is better. Health wise I feel a tons better if I do it, than not do it...precontest or offseason...
