jUST CURIOUS WHAT THE AVERAGE AMOUNT OF SLEEP YOU GUYS AND GALS GET. i THINK IM SLEEPING WAY LESS THE OLDER i GET

I thought this was going to be a POLL? Now I'm just dissapointed and my hopes are chattered. I sleep about 7 hours a night, 8+ if I'm training hard

Fuck Bro It Must Have Posted The Thread Before The Poll Was Finshed, Didnt Know It Did That, Ur Just Way To Fast For Me

average night is 8, but when I'm training hard I will get 10

right now I have insomnia so I'm just getting 4 and it sux :(

as long as it doesn't effect my training I don't care

I only get 5-6. I need more freakin hours in a day. 24 just aint enough. Either that, or I wish all I had to do was wake up eat, train, hang out, and spend money. That would work too ;)

I voted 6-7 although I usually am in bed for more like 8. But I wake up @ least once every night sometimes 2 and 3 times with the baby so probably only like 6-7. Maybe if I put some weightgainer in her bottle she'll get fuller and sleep through the night!!!

5-6, Like teedubgee, there aint enough time in the day. Up around 5 and by the time
I'm done for the day it is 9-10 pm. I dont want to go right to sleep - want a little
chill time to wind down.

i try to get about 7 i aim for 8 but as we all know what you aim for you never get just about lol. if i gotta get up at 6 for work i try to lay down around 930 tenish usually dont fall asleep till after eleven but i try at least.

I think for a lot of us the amount of time we're off our feet and resting is just as important as the number of hours we're actually sleeping. Not to say that the sleep isn't important but I think the fact that a lot of us are off our feet laying in bed certainly does play a roll in recovery even if we're not sounds asleep.

saw this up there and I thought I'd update it for myself. I looked at my 6-7 of sleep before and started salivating!!! I am lucky if I get 4 right now and they're never a straight 4. It's the break and I got to bed last night at 2 (studying) and then up this morning at 6...but the little girl slept with us in a queen size bed, which = an extremely crowded bed with my new size (I never thought I'd say I missed being 160, but it was a lot easier to sleep with kids when I wasn't this big). I got up twice last night...coffee is my new drug of choice!

The extra size is one reason my wife and I got a king size bed. I sleep a little better now, varying between 5-6 hrs and 6-7 hrs of sleep. I suppose a new resolution this next year would be to get myself to bed earlier to stay at 6-7 hrs.

With no job and basically waiting for school to start again in 3 weeks Ive been sleeping 10 hours a day with naps just caus eIm bored out of my mind. Once Im back in class and work I'll be back to 6-7 hours.

I get between 7 and 12. I can go with as little as 6 for about 2 days, but by the third day, I can't concentrate or think straight and I get very cranky.

I've been getting waaaay better sleep now. I bought one of those serta memory foam toppers for my mattress. That shit is so comfortable. I wish I would've bought it a long time ago. It only ran me under $80 after shipping. It came with two memory foam pillows too. I still get about 7 hours, but the sleep is just way better.

nope same boat as Presser, 5-6 on the week days...8 on the weekends
I have found that stats are correct that the older a person gets the harder it is for them to sleep
NOW, I know why my parents use to get so pissed at me when I was a kid for waking them up
