It is important to use an external source of testosterone while recovering from any type of surgery. Opiates used for pain will place your normal T levels at almost non existence levels. Without the T level in the adequate range the cell division will take place at a much slower pace. Therefore the surgical wound could take double the amount of time to heal. I recently took External T after major back surgery(fusion with metal rods). My back healed in 4 months. The Doctor was like, "your healing Exceptionally Well". It was keeping the T levels constant that enabled this. In 4 months I was lifting again(machines). My T was provided by my endo. Thank goodness for Endo's......Good Luck to anyone Post Op

body2see.... GREAT POINT>... over bleeding is BAD! .... but in any injury .. to build strength around weak muscle tissue seems to help with recovery.. period... strengthen the muscles around the group... as you strengthen the group in need of recovery... makes it a HELL of a lot easier to get mobility and action back in the muscles!

Igf probably wouldn't be bad either. It does seem like it would help with muscle restoration from the incision.
