is it hard to take a day off???

Its harder for me to take a day off from the gym than it is to go. I keep telling myself its better to take a day off than over train, but its like an addiction, i cant stop going. Most of the time, i just want to go on my off day and do cardio... but then that turns into more, like abs... or calves...
 
i think its because doing less to acheive more sounds like an oxymoron. you want better results, and if you want something you gotta earn it. not sit around and take it easy.

agreed...makes me want to go to the gym right now..
 
it's like Mike Metzner use to say," More is not better". I have to force myself too, but when I come back I am stronger.
 
Yeah it sucks especially if im on cycle i never wanna leave the gym i have to just do what i wrote down for that day in my journal and walk right out or ill be there too long.
 
I feel guilty as hell if I miss a day, eat badly, or dont work out hard enough.... but I love the way I'm starting to look and I dont want to F that up..
 
Not for me. I got a rocephin shot and a gram of cellestone and I was on the treadmill the next day and did over 8 miles. I don't have a problem. I am not an addict. Nevermind I have a problem.
 
Your in a groove. I'll sometimes go in on off days and do whatever body parts are next. I figure that sometimes hitting the muscle
sooner will give it a different shock. My main reason is that with 2 kids and trying to keep the wife happy - when something comes
up I can miss my workout and not feel guilty - thats my off day. How about on some of your off days do something different. Sprints
or mabey stairs.
 
If im in the grove and training hard its hard to take a day off here and there...
but when im out of the training grove...its very easy to take a day or week off
 
I hate to take a day off it pisses me off. And most of the time it is because of my old lady.

lol, thats awsome if u ask me brutha! its an addicition, a goood addiction thankfully
