make sure your gear is legit and sterile!!!!!

What do you guys do to sterilize your gear?

I boil water about 1 1/2inch deep then I put a vent pin in the top and take the pan off of the stove and put the vials in the pan standing up. I leave them in until they are all cooled off.

Doesnt that just remove the BA, and not sterilize the gear?
