Just wanted to start by giving thanks to all the vets who helped with my previous posts. This forum rocks!! I'm a newbie, 27 yrs. old, 175 lbs, around 14% b.f. On my first cycle, on week 3, consisting of test. cyp. at 400 mgs/week. What advice can be given on eating for mass. Looking to gain at least 15 lbs. from this cycle if possible. Just some pointers on caloric/protein intake needed per day. Thanks in advance.
 
id say take in around 350-400 grams of protien a day and somewhere in the 4000-5000 cal range, if you want more detail you can pm more or buy a plan from supermannpc, i know he has got amazing diets planned out and will custom fit it to your needs bro.
 
bump on supermanpc...one thing I would advise is cottage cheese before bedtime. I don't know why it has taken me so long to find this amazing food, but I finially did (3 days ago). I just ran out tonight. At night I usually eat 1/2 tub of cottage cheese with 3 tablespoons of peanut butter.
 
Someone gave me a crapload of Omaha steak meats and ive been living on pure potatoes, chicken and steak.....Ive put on 10lb's the last month with nothing else but multivitamins.
Not one protien shake either......I guess the old schoolers were right. Eat like a man and grow like one.
 
So I'm assuming I'll be intaking a whole bunch of weight gainers in order to get those numbers of calories/protein. That's a lot of food for a day. Thanks guys, I'll be sure to check out supermanpc.
 
Thanks guys for the recommendation. As you become more experianced and educated in bodybuilding and nutrition you realize that everything you do relates back to your diet. I would be more than happy to work with any of you. I am very flexiable and give MC members discounts and special deals.

Hey body, if you really want to kick heartburn put a tablespoon of baking soda in your mouth and wash it down with water really quick. It's a quick fix because it's so basic. However, you can do it to much, so if it doesn't work at first try one more and then quit. Also milk helps as does water. I have been dealing with acid reflux for several years now and most of the time these tricks work for me.
 
Spiderman is correct about the baking soda. I also find that a high potency Multi-Mineral from twinlab keeps acid levels down.
 
No doubt, not to make you jealous but I just slaughtered a cow and I have two freezers stocked full of meat. I'm about to go eat the my first steak for breakfast with some eggs.

yea, that sums up bulking for me as well. Except for first thing in the morning, Im nice a flat and even some abs. But by nighttime, Im up 10lbs and bloated to high hell.

antacids dont do dick. I just avoid orals and its managable. But any orals, and nothings is going down.
 
I guess the Igf is kicking in - I'm starving and after reading this post I'm drooling!
I remember years ago I was on a carb depleation diet with a crazy pre-exaust
workout (Cybergenics - anybody remember that) High protien w/NO carbs for
5 days then carb overload - all you could stuff into yourself. After 6 weeks I was
seeing spots on the 5th day of depleation and all I could think of was bannana
pancakes and pictures of coke-cola. Some one would ask me something and all
I could reply was "bannana pancakes". LOL

Yea i did a diet like that i think it was from Dan (Dushaine)? no carbs for 5 days, then i ate 24 carb meals in 48 hours, it sucked waking up every 2 hours a night and eating, but my arms would swell up 1/2 inch in those 2 days it was crazy. Anyway those bannana pancakes sound good never had any..
