Whats up everyone? Welp, I got a free sample of GNC's new Multi called Mega-MAN SPORT and it contains all kinds of amino acids and like.. 150mg or so of Green Tea Extract. I took them and they made my heart race like a mofo on speed. Should I discontinue use of these or should I keep taking them... of course no chest pain or anything... but it was really interesting
 
Your heart racing is from the green tea,it a form of caffine,but in a few day to a week you will be okay.And take it in the morning so you can sleep and night,best of luck.
 
I'd think it was something else in the pills. Normally, the green tea extract is for polyphenols. Strongpointe85, can you list all the ingredients?
 
I would say there are caffein and guarana seeds in them. You should be ok or maybe take half the dosage or something to start out with.

oh yah and I pose another question... when it says 2 Tablets daily with food, should I be taking them @ the same time or say 1 with breakfast and one with lunch?
 
I like to split the doses. I feel the body absorbs smaller quantities more efficiently with little waste as apposed to taking them all at the same time.

I dont see why this would make the heart race Unless you had a bad reaction to an ingredient or it's spiked with speed.lol

Ive taken tons of green tea and and never got a speedy heart......Small amount in the product.

Could be you had a deficiency in the first place and your getting more energy production.......This happended to me when I bought some B-complex caps....I couldnt sleep the first night I was so amped.

As stated above maybe it will go away in a couple days.
 
That's a good question. I would think taking them separately wouldn't hurt because you still get all the dosage no matter what. If taking 2 at the same time makes your heart beat like hell then I would try splitting them up and see the effect.

:fyi: With a multi vit. I like to split it up into two doses,an hour after you breakfast and dinner.An hour after, because your stomach acids are more active then, and that is when there is a much better digestive and absorbsion rate.
