New PR on bench...

I've never been a good bencher at all, but my bench has been coming up slowly. I have decided to do a powerlifting meet on the 24th if all things go right, but I'm not going to be using any bench shirts just lifting in the raw division. I'm really hoping to get close to 300, but I've never even tried that without a shirt on. Last week I was training with a buddy and we were just doing high reps and I was feeling good so I wanted to do a little test and see where my strength was and put 275 on the bench (most I've ever done raw was 265) and I got it pretty easily. I paused at the bottom like I'd need to in a comp so I'm feeling pretty good about it. I may be able to get a little closer to 285-290 in the next few weeks, but we shall see
 
That's awesome! You should feel good about a 10 lb increase and the fact that you handled it without struggling is even better, not mention the pause! It sounds like you've got more in the tank too, keep doing whatever you're doing because it's working. By the way, is this another PR using All-In? If so this makes me want to drop my diet right now and start carbing up dammit! lol
 
Thanks guys...Yes, this was with All In. My muscles stay so pumped on that stuff that it feels like I can never get enough in the gym. Mike hit the nail on the head with this stuff

Thanks Wesley, I've always wanted to hit 300 raw. I've hit it in competition with a bench shirt, but never close raw. I've always wanted to hit a 300 bench, 500 deadlift, 450-500 squat all raw.
