So I just feel the urge to tell everyone about my amazing day at the gym....I am a powerlifter and my workouts are geared that way, Bench days as opposed to chest days, squat/deadlift days as opposed to leg or back day and so on, I'm sure most of you know what I mean. Don't get me wrong though, I love bodybuilding and have a lot of respect for the sport and definitely for the training, it's just not for me....Anyway, I am a high school wrestling coach and for the last 3-4 months my schedule has been crazy and stressful, so my diet has been crap, I haven't lifted since November and been wrestling hard 4-5 days a week, this all equals 35 pounds lost and weak as hell! About 2 weeks ago I started hitting it hard again and have put on about 15 pounds, however I am still weak as hell and its extremely demotivating for me. Going to the gym has been a nightmare and as I used to get pumped to go, lately I've been absolutely dreading it! So the other day I went to elitefts.com to read some articles by Dave Tate and Jim Wendler, 2 of my favorites, in hopes of some motivation. I came across this article by Tate Skin Splitting Training for Massive Arms And I thought to myself, Yeah, who doesn't want bigger arms?!?! I want huge arms! What the hell, I'll change it up and do this arm program and see what happens...so I went into excited as hell, put my music on, ignored everyone and blasted the shit out of my arms! By the end I could barely scratch my head my arms were so pumped. It felt awesome! I had worn a long sleeve sweatshirt the whole work out, and when I took it off and the arms on my tshirt were tight as hell on my arms....It was a great feeling, and got my head pulled out of my ass and now I'm ready to get my ass back in tomorrow and kick my ass with some squatting! Planning on throwing in an arm day about once a month just to keep it fun and exciting, cause I'm a man and I want some big ass arms!
